Even if “stay logged in (24 hours)” is checked upon sign in, If you are logged in for more than 2 hours with no action being taken, your account will be automatically logged out. Users are informed by the toast notification below letting them know they will/have been logged out due to inactivity.
“stay logged in (24 hours)” only sets the length of time before you are prompted to login again. You would need to remain active at least once every 1h59minutes throughout that 24h to avoid being signed out.
Inactivity always has a 2h limit.
This functionality cannot be disabled or modified due to regulatory requirements. Upon logging back in, you will be returned to the screen you last had open.
Note: if a client states this did not occur in past, this is because a defect that was present prior to the release of Apteryx 4.32.0 (Released 2/12/2025) prevented the automatic logout of the user, which has since been resolved.
