The best image quality for the Jazz Solo sensor is acheived by applying the following filters to the Jazz extension.
- Launch DCV/XVCapture and select Advanced User Tools
- Select Preferences
- By default, the User ID is admin, and the Password is AKRON
- Select Imaging Extensions from the navigation pane on the left side, towards the bottom. Click the red caret (>) next to Digital X-ray Image Capture, and select Jazz sensor
- Select Modify Post Capture Filters

Delete existing filters under Filter Options
- Then select Add New Filter to rebuild to match the screenshot below. Note: Gamma may need to be increased to .50 if the images are too dark
- Click OK until you exit XVCapture
It is imperative that the Jazz Control Center be set to "Default Enhanced". Go to the following area of the Jazz Imaging Control Center to confirm this setting.
