This guide covers how to disable the Underexposure Warning that can appear when capturing with Tuxedo A Series, Quickray, Dentiray 4, XDR, and other E2VII sensors in XVCapture.
The following "Underexposure Warning!" error is displayed when the sensor reports that it has not received enough radiation for best image quality results.
How to turn the warning off
If you are configuring the sensor for the first time, it is recommended that you setup the sensor with default image quality settings with the following guide. If you are only looking to turn the warning off, continue with the below steps.
- At the main menu select Advanced User Tools > Preferences
- Input the password. By default the password is AKRON
- Once inside the preferences, select 'Imaging Extensions' on the left hand toolbar
- Click the red caret (>) next to Digital X-ray Image Capture and select the TuxedoASeries Digital X-ray extension or the respective extension used with you E2VII sensor
- select Hardware settings
- Uncheck the "Enable underexposure detection" box
