Introduction:
The Delivery Schedule automatically queues Email, SMS, Postal mail and Phone Calls for delivery based on the following triggers:
- An Appointment is Scheduled (unconfirmed)
- An Appointment is Confirmed
- A New Patient is Created
- A Patient's Birthday
- A New Lead is Created
- A Patient is in Recall
This guide will show you how to add, edit, deactivate or delete an existing touchpoint (reminder) from your delivery schedule.
Process description:
You'll need to go to the settings menu, select the option for delivery schedule, select the trigger event, and then either create a new event, edit an existing event, deactivate an event, or delete an event.
Step-by-step instructions:
To add a reminder to the delivery schedule:
- Go to Settings: Click on the drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner next to your account name.
- Select Delivery Schedule: In the left column, under the list of Settings, click on Delivery Schedule.
- Choose Your Trigger: Under Schedule Trigger (in the middle column), select the trigger you’d like to edit (for example, Appointment status is "Confirmed").
- Click the "Create Event" button.
- Set the event criteria:
- Is the message going to a patients, or notification user (office staff)?
- What template should go out?
- When should the message go out?
To edit the frequency (how often a reminder is sent) for an existing touchpoint:
- Go to Settings: Click on the drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner next to your account name.
- Select Delivery Schedule: In the left column, under the list of Settings, click on Delivery Schedule.
- Choose Your Trigger: Under Schedule Trigger (in the middle column), select the trigger you’d like to edit (for example, Appointment status is "Confirmed").
- Edit Reminder: In the right column, choose the reminder you’d like to update and click the blue Edit button.
- Update the Reminder Send Time: Under the section labeled Send, click the drop-down menu to adjust how the selected reminder is sent.
- Save Your Changes: Once you’ve made your desired changes, click the blue Save button.
Please Note: 1 Hour is the minimum time allowed for ALL reminders.
To deactivate (temporarily turn off) an existing touchpoint (reminder):
- Go to Settings: Click on the drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner next to your account name.
- Select Delivery Schedule: In the left column, under Settings, click on Delivery Schedule.
- Choose Your Trigger: Under Schedule Trigger (in the middle column), select the trigger you’d like to edit (for example, Appointment status is "Confirmed").
- Deactivate the Reminder: In the right column, locate the reminder you’d like to deactivate and click the orange Deactivate button.
- (Optional) To reactivate the reminder, simply click the grey Activate button.
Please Note: Once deactivated, the reminder will appear yellow with a line through it, and the reminder will no longer be sent until it is reactivated.

To delete an existing touchpoint (reminder):
- Go to Settings: Click on the drop-down menu in the upper right-hand corner next to your account name.
- Select Delivery Schedule: In the left column, under Settings, click on Delivery Schedule.
- Choose Your Trigger: Under Schedule Trigger (in the middle column), select the trigger you’d like to edit (for example, Appointment status is "Confirmed").
- Delete the Reminder: In the right column, locate the reminder you’d like to delete and click the red Delete button.

If applicable, If alert populates select the blue OK button:
After Deletion - touchpoint (reminder) is completely removed.
