*Please note: There are two areas to check for opting patients back into text messaging.
1. Provide your patient with your texting number, the patient then texts the word START to that number to opt back in. *Please call the patient with this information as texting will not work yet.
You can find your texting number in the Settings tab >Phone Numbers > Two Way Texting Number.
Please note: The title named above your texting number may vary based on your custom Phone Number settings.
If the patient is still unable to receive messages after opting in, please advise them to contact their mobile carrier to verify and, if applicable, have the above two-way texting number removed from any block list.
2. Patient Subscriptions is the second place to edit to allow for text messaging.
Instructions:
- Go to the Patients tab.
- Search for the patient (might need to type the full name).
- Click on the Patient.
- Above the patient Details, click the Subscription which will open the Practice's Legwork Microsite.
- There is a section for the list of subscriptions that the patient has enabled, Phone, Text Message, E-mail, Postal.
- Check to subscribe.
- Uncheck to unsubscribe.
- Click Save Subscription Settings at the bottom.
