Introduction:
Patient subscriptions refer to the methods of communication the patient prefers to receive. Currently, this information does not automatically pull from any practice management system and defaults to enabling the four categories: Phone, Text Message, E-mail, and Postal.
Steps to Update Subscription Preferences:
- Go to the Patients tab.
- Search for the patient (you may need to type their full name).
- Click on the patient's name to open their profile.
- Above the Patient Details, click on Subscription, which will open the Practice's Microsite.
- In the Subscriptions section, you will see a list of communication options: Phone, Text Message, E-mail, and Postal.
- Check each communication option the patient would like to subscribe to.
- Uncheck each communication option the patient would like to unsubscribe from.
- Click Save Subscription Settings at the bottom to confirm the changes.
Please note: Patients can easily unsubscribe or edit their communication preferences from any email sent by the office through the practice marketing software. Patient subscriptions only affect appointment-related communication.
