We use PlanetDDS Pay. How do we reconcile our transactions?

Description:
The PDDS Pay Reconciliation Report enables users to compare Denticon and Stripe payment data, ensuring accurate financial records. It supports data viewing across one or multiple locations within an organization and allows report generation on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis using custom timeframes.

Key features:

Data Source / Columns: 

Reconciled - Denticon vs. Stripe transactions - calculated

  • Match - Denticon Payment Amount matches Stripe Payment Amount

  • Missing Denticon Payment - Payment exists in Stripe but is missing in Denticon. 

  • Missing Stripe Transaction - Payment recorded in Denticon but not found in Stripe. 

  • Denticon Payment vs. Stripe Trans. Mismatch - Payment Amount in Denticon does not match Stripe

  • Stripe Net vs. Stripe Payout Mismatch - Stripe Net (Sum) does not equal Payout Amount

    • Transaction Net (Sum)

    • Payout Net

Denticon

  • Payment Location – OID + Location description (Denticon) 

  • Patient ID – Unique identifier (Denticon) 

  • Patient Name – Full name (Denticon) 

  • Payment Transaction Date – Date processed (Denticon) 

  • Payment Amount – Amount recorded (Denticon) 

  • Type - Denticon Transaction Ledger Type

    • Payment

    • Adjustment

Stripe

  • Transaction Gross Amount – Charged amount before fees

  • Transaction Fees – Stripe processing fees 

  • Transaction Net – Net amount received after fees

  • Transaction Payment Method Type – (e.g., Card Present, Card Not Present) 

  • Transaction Card Brand – (e.g., Visa, MasterCard, AMEX) 

  • Transaction Status

    • Charge

    • Refund

  • Payment Intend ID - unique transaction identifier

  • Payout Expected Arrival Date – Expected payout date

  • Payout Date - Date of Payout

  • Payout Status – (e.g., pending, completed)  

  • Payout Gross – Total payout before fees

  • Payout Fee – Stripe payout fees 

  • Payout Net – Amount received after payout fees

  • Payout ID - Unique Payout identifier

Technical specifications:
The office must be integrated with PlanetDDS Pay. 

Best Practices:

  • Currently report can be ran for a 1-month interval.
  • Selecting the option to "Print Payments With No Payout Date Only", will print a list of all payments where there is not a matching transaction logged in Denticon.
