Users can view real time claim statuses from carriers in Denticon from within the Claim details screen.
If a carrier is not supported for this feature, the E-claim Status button will be disabled. To check if a carrier is supported, go to:
• Setup > Insurance > Dental Carriers
• Select a carrier
• “Claim Status” will display either “Supported” or “Not Supported”
If the carrier is eligible for this feature, click on the “Claim Detail,” then click the “E-claim Status (EDI – 276/277)” button.
A pop-up window will display with real time details about the claims.
