Data privacy is always a top priority at Planet DDS. There are technical and organizational measures implemented to protect personal data as a data processor, per the GDPR. We’re committed to helping our clients meet the highest levels of compliance when handling patient data under the new requirements.
Understanding Compliance Under the GDPR
The GDPR is Europe’s new framework for data protection laws. It regulates how organizations – inside and outside of the EU – can collect, process, store, and share personal data online. Any organization that collects personal data from someone in the EU is required to be compliant as a data collector starting May 25, 2018.
Data privacy is, and has always been, a top priority at Planet DDS. As a data processor, we are committed to helping our clients (collectors) meet the highest levels of compliance when handling patient data under the GDPR. Key Components
