NOTE: TSYS or Open Edge must implement necessary activation numbers into the office’s Denticon account before the office is active to process credit card transactions through TSYS or Open Edge. Only after TSYS or Open Edge account activation and the office’s entry of the appropriate integration information will the credit card payment feature become available for the office.
NOTE: The office is not active for processing credit card transactions through TSYS or Open Edge when TSYS or Open Edge simply approves the office’s financial account.
NOTE: Denticon’s team does not provide the TSYS or Open Edge account information.
NOTE: Denticon’s team does not enter the office’s TSYS or Open Edge account information into the Denticon program.
Denticon must be integrated for TSYS or Open Edge credit card processing account via:
- Access the word “Setup” and choose the “Offices” option from the drop-down box
- Select the desired location
- Click the Edit Office button
- Access the “Integration” tab
- Ensure the proper payment capture hardware is selected
- Record the in the credit card activation information:
- If using the USB Card Reader:
- enter the TCID
- enter the Registration Key (this field is case-sensitive, ensure to record it exactly as TSYS or Open Edge has provided it)
- If using the VX805 Chip Reader:
- enter the Gateway ID
- enter the Registration Key (this field is case-sensitive, ensure to record it exactly as TSYS has provided it)
- Click the Save button
- If using the USB Card Reader:
NOTE: If using the VX805 credit card terminal, use the Help Portal “how to” guidance information regarding the setup of the hardware for usage within the office.
NOTE: The TSYS or Open Edge activation information is unique to the specific capture hardware. If the office switches from one type of hardware to the other (i.e., card swipe to VX805), different activation information must be obtained directly from TSYS or Open Edge.
