If a patient has any ledger history or appointment history, they will not be able to be deleted from the system for data security and integrity.
Process description:
Instead of deleting the patient, they will need to be inactivated.
Step-by-step instructions:
- Access the patient record.
- Click the "Edit" button on the patient overview screen.
- Uncheck the box next to the "Active" field.

Inactive patient records may always be found by searching “Include Inactive Patients” on the “Patient / Search Patient” screen.
