Introduction:
Denticon is programmed to show Class 5 surfaces as "VB" or "VF", representing a single Class 5 Surface for either Buccal or Facial. For example, a two-surface Class V restoration showing "BVB" is only two surfaces where "B" is one surface and "VB" is the representation for the Class V Buccal. On the printed claims it will show "BB" instead of "BVB" because V is not one of the surfaces allowed when submitting to insurance, surfaces will convert to B or F on all claims.
Issue description:
When entering in a restoration to either the treatment plan, appointment, or ledger, the column labeled "Surf" will show one additional surface, for example "BVB" and "FVF" instead of "VF" and "VB".
Signs:
Basic troubleshooting steps:
- Click blue date of service in the ledger, or blue diagnosis date in the treatment plan.
- Click on the "V" next to the surfaces field to confirm Class V was entered as a surface.
