I need to generate the HIPAA agreement for a patient. How do I generate the HIPAA statement for one patient?

To print the HIPAA agreement for a specific patient, access the Patient record.

Click Print menu

Choose the “Letters” selection

Choose the Letter Group category “Patient Consent”

Select the HIPAA agreement (first page)

Choose the desired font type and size, or accept the default setting

Click the Print button to generate to the Adobe Acrobat Reader screen for printing from Adobe

If the patient’s signature is desired, have the patient sign the electronic document

Click the Save PDF file button to record the letter in the patient’s Notes screen
