- Click the word “Setup” and choose the “Procedure Codes” and “Type of Service Codes” options from the drop-down box.
- By default, the program includes the “office” and the “patient’s home” places of service.
- To add more locations, click the Edit button.
- Indicate the place of service code in the “Code” field.
- Indicate the code description in the “Description” field.
- Click the Add button to add the new code to the list.
- Click the Save button.
Note: You can also edit an office's default place of service code under Setup > Offices > Office Setup > [select your location] > Advanced tab > Edit > Default Place of Service > [select code] > Save. This can only be done after an office has been added with an OID and not during the office creation process.
