Access the Scheduler window. From the “Scheduler” menu select the “Find Slot” option from the drop-down list.
Ensure the desired search date(s) are indicated in the “From Date” and “To Date” fields. Utilize the calendar to quickly select the desired dates per field. A desired date range can also be utilized to indicate desired parameters. To utilize the field, place a check mark in the box at “Select Date Range” and choose the desired pre-designed selection.
Ensure the desired appointment duration is indicated in the “Length (mins)” field.
Ensure the desired search times are indicated in the “From Time” and “To Time” fields. Utilize the dropdown boxes to quickly select the desired times per field. The “AM,” “PM,” and “Full Day” indicators can also be utilized to indicate those daily parameters. Likewise, exclusion of lunch hours and holidays/exceptions can be indicated for the search.
Indicate the desired days for searching.
Indicate the desired provider(s) for the search. If no provider is specifically selected, the search will look to all provider schedules for a potential match. Likewise, secondary provider(s) can be indicated. Indicate the desired operatory/operatories for the search. To select multiple operatories, utilize the Control (Ctrl) keyboard key as the desired operatory name is indicated.
Once the desired search parameters are designed, click the Find Slot button. A listing of selections is returned to the screen. Click the line of the desired appointment.
To capture the slot for the patient’s appointment, double click the indicated appointment slot and continue adding an appointment for the desired patient.
