Transactions – whether they are treatment performed on a patient or payments received for a patient – are recorded in the office in which they are incurred.
· If a procedure is performed and entered in location A, the patient's record and reports will reflect the activity in the location A office.
· If a payment is received and posted in the location A office, the patient's record and reports will reflect the activity in the location A office.
· If a procedure is performed and entered in location A but the payment is received in location B, the patient’s ledger will show each of those activities and the transactions will indicate the office location in which they were recorded while allocating to the appropriate patient, provider and procedure.
Bulk checks, as such, cannot be entered across multiple offices.
-- You can stay within any office and be able to pay off any patient in any office. The payment itself will be recorded to the current office but will payoff/allocate to another office's procedures.
-- If you wish to enter payments to reflect the office in which the procedure was incurred, you'll need to switch to the appropriate office location.
