Our office wants to generate a report to understand from where our patients are referred. Which report should we consider?

The recommended report is:

• Click the word “Reports”
• Select “Referral Reports”
• Referral Summary Report
• Define the date range of posted procedures
• If desired, indicate a specific referral type

If the office uses only the mandatory “Referral Type” field in the patient record, the report will provide information for only the broad category of the office’s Referral types.
If the office uses the additional optional “Referred By” field in the patient record in order to be more specific about the unique referral source, the report will indicate both the broad category of the office’s Referral types as well as the specific referral source.
