Managed Care is set to not be allowed to discount or apply additional fee intentionally. The idea is that the Managed Care is a state funded type (typically) and if the fees were accidentally increased, the insurance would not pay all of it and the patient would be expected to pay.
NOTE: If the office wishes to update an existing fee schedule, yet archive the fees for reference, please locate Denticon’s helpful link found by searching the term “archive” for assistance: I’ve found my office default fees for my non-insurance patients need to be adjusted. I want to update my fee schedule with new amounts. I want to keep a copy of my original office fees as an archive record. How do I add the new fee schedule without losing the original?
