The top reasons why an online updated medical history is not appearing to the dental office staff:
- Patient entered the name in the online medical history update screen reversed from the Denticon record:
- Patient entered LastName=Sally and FirstName=Smith
- Denticon record indicates LastName=Smith and FirstName=Sally
- Patient entered the name in the online medical history update screen different than the Denticon record:
- Patient entered LastName=Jones and FirstName=Bill
- Denticon record indicates LastName=Jones and FirstName=William
- Patient entered the birthdate in the online medical history update screen different than the Denticon record:
- Patient entered birthdate 08-09-1950
- Denticon record indicates birthdate 09-08-1950
- Duplicate Active Patient exists in Denticon. Other patient's medical history was updated
- Patient may have been entered as an Ortho Patient and as a GP patient. Only one of the patient's medical history will reflect the Import Option. Once you click the Import Option, you will be prompted that a duplicate patient exists and whether you want to update all accounts.
