This article covers the approximate size of various imaging modalities.
Image size will vary greatly depending on the hardware used and its resolution and configuration. An increase in resolution from 640x480 to 1280x720

| *CBCT volumes can vary greatly dependent on compression and CT scan. A baseline is 400MB, but some CTs can be over 1Gb with minimal compression and a larger scan. |
Notes:
DLSR: Digital Single-Lens Reflex is a camera that uses a mirror and prism system to provide a true optical view through the lens and allows capturing higher-quality images.
Resolution: Number of pixels in an often expressed as the number of pixels on a side or the total number of pixels. i.e. An image resolution 1920x1200 is 2.3 Megapixels.
Storage space conversions: 1,024KB = 1MB, 1024MB = 1GB, 1,024GB = 1TB
