We have consent forms for treatment which we have signed by the patient before treatment is performed. However, the consent form is not allowing keyboard entry of tooth numbers to the generated letter. How can we ensure the procedure indicates them?

The consent forms can be customized to include a mergeable field. In Denticon, we call the mergeable field "Data Tag."

To indicate in a consent letter the approval of a procedure, one of the following treatment plan data tags should be used:

·   #PAT_TXPLAN#

·   #PAT_TXPLAN_FEE#

NOTE: Denticon is programmed to allow each office the ability to have office-specific letters. As a result, the entry or editing of a letter in one office location will not enter or change the letter in a different office location. To quickly copy all letters from one location to another, click utilities/copy letters. The office should ensure that all the desired letters are in one location (aka: master location) before the copy function is performed.
