The priority of treatment within a Treatment Plan
Indicated in the Treatment Plan columns as PID
Example: A patient needs routine care, simple restorations, plus endodontics and crown treatment. All the treatment is not likely to be accomplished in one visit. Therefore, the Treatment Plan can be phased to provide a desired roadmap for the treatment.
Treatment Plan ID 1 [a listing of everything that needs to be done to achieve good dental health]
Phase ID 1: routine care (exam, prophylaxis, fluoride, radiographs)
Phase ID 2: composite restorations on teeth 12, 20, 26, 27
Phase ID 3: endodontic treatment, build-up, crown restoration on tooth 4
