Note:
When a patient is moved to a new account, the old account is marked as inactive. Also, the ledger history does not copy over to the new account. In this case, Denticon recommends adding a Flash Alert on both accounts for reference. When searching for the old account be sure to include inactive patients.
a). Patient's ledger history will NOT be moved/copied

The Good News is another user submitted a request to our developers to consider copying the ledger over and our team is working on adding this soon. To view, vote, or subscribe to this request, Go to Help>Submit Product Suggestion and type 'move patient' in the search box.
Open claims will not transfer over to the new account. Denticon advises the old account be accessed to pay off claims. The account# listed in the ledger is the Responsible Party #.
In some cases, where the balance transferred to the new account from Auto Adjustments, the office can click on the date next to the auto adjustments to delete so the balance is updated or reflects correctly. If deleting is not an option, on the new account a credit adjustment may be entered and the old account a debit adjustment.
